Sources and uncertainty
Product coverage identifies its sources. A merchant description is attributed to the merchant and is not evidence of our own testing. If source details conflict or cannot be verified, we explain the uncertainty rather than fill the gap with an assumption.
Experience and recommendations
We do not invent authors, credentials, ratings or product-testing claims. First-hand experience must have supporting evidence before it is described as our experience. Lifestyle suggestions can be offered as ideas without presenting them as measured results.
Review and AI assistance
Drafts are reviewed before publication. AI-assisted copy remains subject to editorial review and factual checks; assistance is identified in the article context when used. A product record alone does not establish an editorial recommendation.
Relationships and corrections
Relevant professional and commercial relationships must be explained alongside the affected coverage. Meaningful corrections record what changed, why and the supporting source. Publication dates are not changed merely to make an article appear new.
